These Terms of Service apply to darlingmahj.com and to any order you place with The Darling Mahj. By using this site or buying from us, you agree to them. Please read them.
You need to be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By ordering you confirm the information you give us is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.
Each Charleston Tracker is a clear acrylic panel with six sliding markers, gold corner hardware and a weighted acrylic stand, hand-illustrated in one of five colorways and sold individually.
Because the artwork is hand-illustrated and printed, small variations in color, alignment and finish between pieces are normal and are not defects. Screens also render color differently, so the colorway you receive may not match your monitor exactly.
All prices are in US dollars and do not include shipping or any applicable sales tax, which are calculated at checkout. We may change prices, change our product range, or stop selling something at any time.
We try hard to keep the site accurate, but errors happen. If a product is listed at the wrong price or with a materially wrong description, we may cancel the affected order even after it is placed, and we will refund you in full.
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. Your order is accepted when we send your shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel any order, including where we suspect fraud, where there is a pricing or listing error, or where we cannot fulfill it. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.
Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy form part of these terms. Please read them, since they cover delivery timing, order cancellation, what happens if an item arrives damaged or wrong, and our all-sales-final policy. We currently ship within the United States only.
The Charleston Tracker artwork, the name The Darling Mahj, the monkey mark, and the text and images on this site belong to us and are protected. Buying a tracker gives you the physical product. It does not transfer any rights to the artwork on it.
You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or make derivative products from our artwork, and you may not use our name or branding, without our written permission. Photographing your own tracker and sharing it is welcome and encouraged.
The Charleston Tracker is an independent accessory. It is a memory aid for the existing Charleston sequence used in American Mahjong. It is not an official rule, an official ruling, or a substitute for your league's card, and it is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or connected to any mahjong league, association or publisher.
If you create an account you are responsible for your login details and for anything done through your account. If you join our email list you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Please do not misuse this site. That includes attempting to interfere with it, accessing it through automated means to scrape or resell our content, or using it for anything unlawful.
This site runs on Shopify and links out to third parties such as payment providers and social media. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of services we do not control.
Our products are sold as-is for their intended purpose, which is keeping track of the Charleston at a mahjong table. Beyond the warranties we cannot exclude by law, and beyond our Refund Policy, we make no other guarantees. We do not warrant that this site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Darling Mahj is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or of a product you bought from us. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of South Carolina.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
